A Midsummer Night's Dream (January 2009)
Posted by Richard on Saturday 28th February 2009 at 12:38 PM

Mark's big-stage debut was in the Winston Churchill School Production of A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Rhoda McGaw Theatre in Woking.

Mark played Puck - one of four, in a slight departure from Will's original version.

I have to confess I was a little apprehensive before the performance - a school musical production ... of Shakespeare? But what can I say? Thoroughly enjoyable in every way - costumes, music, singing, dance, and some incredible acting talent. Who would have guessed that Shakespeare could be so much fun? And that a school production could be so impressive?

Congratulations to EVERYBODY involved - all that hard work really paid off! I can hardly wait for next year's stage adaptation of Finding Nemo! ;-)

I enjoyed the show, Mark played his part well as did the whole cast. Hope to see their next production.
