Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon)
Posted by Richard on Wednesday 17th November 2004 at 12:45 AM

My main reason for the trip was to drag the boys up Snowdon (1085m) - or Yr Wyddfa to give it its proper name. We took the Miners' Track from Pen-y-pass - a gentle climb for the most part, but quite hard work for a nine year old (and his dad) from Glaslyn up to the ridge.

It's not often you'll see the words "too hot" and Snowdonia in the same sentence, but ... suffice it to say, we really should have carried more water and Llyn Llydaw did look inviting!
