Barbecue (July 2016)
Posted by Richard on Saturday 16th July 2016 at 10:24 PM
With Liz in the country for a few days, we had a bit of a family gathering at IceCold HQ. Incredibly, the weather was good enough for a barbecue - anybody would think it was summer!

Lydia's little feller, Zeke arrived in September. We met him for the first time just before Christmas.

Posted by Richard on Tuesday 24th May 2016 at 07:21 PM
Liz, Paul

The Next Generation (April 2014)
Posted by Richard on Thursday 7th August 2014 at 11:55 AM
Toby arrived in November, but we only got up to Sandbach to meet him and his proud parents in April. It doesn't seem possible that Fiona is a grandmother and Laura a great-aunt!
It's Chico Time (August 2012)
Posted by Richard on Thursday 8th August 2013 at 10:37 PM
Sadly, Yvonne's Yorkie, Coochie was hit by a car earlier in the year. A few months later, Chico - a cute little Chorkie (half Chihuahua, half Yorkie) - moved in to keep her company.
Gathering of the Clan (April 2012)
Posted by Richard on Thursday 24th May 2012 at 09:56 PM
Laura's dad, Gerald passed away at his home in France last year, but unfortunately only Evelyne, Laura and Debbie had been able to attend the funeral. This was the chance to put that right: a family gathering at Robert and Margaret's home in Tickhill near Doncaster.
Introducing Thomas (October 2011)
Posted by Richard on Tuesday 8th May 2012 at 12:57 PM
September saw the somewhat premature arrival of Andrew and Shenda's baby, Thomas. Our first meeting came a few weeks later.
On the Beach (April 2010)
Posted by Richard on Sunday 13th June 2010 at 02:08 PM
Had a great day with my two cousins and their families in Hastings. The meal at
Porters was excellent (thanks Andrew!) and remarkably the sun came out just as we made our way to the beach. :-)
Whitmoor Common (December 2008)
Posted by Richard on Tuesday 30th December 2008 at 11:47 PM
To walk off some of the Christmas turkey, we took our Boxing Day constitutional on Whitmoor Common with Aunty Y and Koochie for company.
Back in Hastings (December 2008)
Posted by Richard on Tuesday 30th December 2008 at 11:52 PM
Just before Christmas we popped down to Hastings for a 'present exchange' with Iain. Great to see Jhelissa and Harrison for the first time in far too long!
Harrison (May 2006)
Posted by Richard on Friday 8th December 2006 at 12:00 AM
Harrison arrived on 24 May 2006. Four days later, we were swinging past Maidstone to pick up Aunty Y, and heading down to Hastings to say hi!
Puttenham Common (April 2006)
Posted by Richard on Monday 19th May 2008 at 12:32 AM
Debbie and Bill joined us for Easter, and with a decent lunch under our belts, we headed to Puttenham Common to work some of it off. My internal compass went a bit haywire out on the common and we nearly lost the cars!
Meet Tom (July 2005)
Posted by Richard on Thursday 25th August 2005 at 11:56 PM
We hadn't made it to Paris to see Tom before he left for Benin, so we had to wait 4 months for his first trip to the UK.
Hastings (May 2005)
Posted by Richard on Thursday 25th August 2005 at 11:56 PM
Nice weather at the beginnning of May? Time to visit Iain in Hastings and to fire up the barbecue!
Debbie & Bill's Back Garden (March 2005)
Posted by Richard on Thursday 25th August 2005 at 11:56 PM
January 2005 saw Debbie and Bill move from town to country. A couple of months later we popped in for tea and explored their back garden (often referred to as the River Thames).
Whitmoor Common (April 2004)
Posted by Richard on Friday 30th April 2004 at 01:05 AM
Paul spent Easter with us, and on Easter Sunday we persuaded the kids to put down the games controllers for a couple of hours and take a walk around Whitmoor Common. Can't say they enjoyed it completely, but at least Adam liked the pub chips!
Pool Parties (August 2003)
Posted by Richard on Thursday 27th November 2003 at 12:07 AM
When Liz was over in the summer, Andrew threw a family party at his Sevenoaks 'estate'.
Horsell Common (June 2001)
Posted by Richard on Sunday 14th October 2001 at 12:07 AM
H.G. Wells put
Horsell Common on the map with the Martian landing in "The War Of The Worlds". Nowadays, the common is the ideal location to wear out hyperactive kids on a Sunday morning!
Matthew Steps Out (June 2000)
Posted by Richard on Friday 26th September 2008 at 02:11 PM
A few photos of Liz's trip back from Africa in June - including an early one of Matthew's up on his feet.
