Prague Castle

Most of our first day was spent in and around Prague Castle. St Vitus's Cathedral was splendid, and the views over the city were excellent.
The Old Town

On day 2, we headed back to Malostranske Namesti and walked to the Old Town via the Charles Bridge and the Jewish Quarter. The memorial to holocaust victims and the exhibition of children's drawings from Terezín, in the Pinkas Synagogue, was incredibly moving.
Karlstejn Castle

On day 3 (Saturday), after a very nice brunch in a bookshop(!), we headed out of the city to visit the impressive Karlstejn Castle.
Petrin Hill

On our last day in Prague, we saw some sun for the first time in our 9 day vacation. We headed up to Petrin Hill, and enjoyed the fantastic autumnal shades and the views over the city.
