The Cotswolds (August 2011)
Posted by Richard on Tuesday 8th May 2012 at 12:29 PM

The weather was OK; the scenery was fantastic.

Bourton-on-the-Water
Posted by Richard on Tuesday 8th May 2012 at 12:36 PM

We based ourselves at the excellent Mousetrap Inn in Bourton-on-the-Water. We had a couple of really nice meals there too, and the owner was a real character! Click here to view this Page

Stow-on-the-Wold
Posted by Richard on Tuesday 8th May 2012 at 12:36 PM

On our second day, we left the car at Donnington and did a circular walk through Broadwell, Stow-on-the-Wold, Lower and Upper Swell, and Longborough. Click here to view this Page

The Slaughters
Posted by Richard on Tuesday 8th May 2012 at 12:37 PM

Our third day's walk took us from Bourton to Naunton via The Slaughters on the Warden's Way, and back on the Windrush Way. More stunning countryside and a great pub lunch at Naunton. Click here to view this Page

Evenlode Vale

Our first three walks 'happened' to have passed by a few Geocaches; our fourth followed a circuit of 37. More caches, less photos. Click here to view this Page

Cleeve Hill
Posted by Richard on Tuesday 8th May 2012 at 12:46 PM

On our last day we headed further west to Winchcombe. We parked near Belas Knap, and walked via Postlip Hall to Cleeve Hill, coming back across Cleeve Common. The wind at the top was bracing, but the views over Cheltenham were fantastic. Click here to view this Page
