The creation of our website coincided with the purchase of our first digital camera at the start of 2000, and our online photo album was born!
Back then I didn't think that a digital camera could replace my trusty old Pentax ME-F. When that started playing up later in the year, I replaced it with a similar model, but I used the new one so infrequently, I can't even remember the model. Eventually, after seven years, I part-exchanged it for my Canon digital SLR.
There are a few photos from non-digital cameras on the website - either digital copies made by the film processors or our own scans - but a vast majority have been taken with these digital cameras:
- Canon PowerShot S10 (2000) - Richard/Laura
- Canon Ixus 500 (2004) - Richard/Laura
- Canon EOS 400D SLR (2007) - Richard
- Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS3 (2008) - Mark
- Nikon Coolpix S3000 (2010) - Laura/Richard
- Panasonic Lumix DMC LX-100 (2016) - Richard
There are also quite a few photos (of variable quality) from our collection of mobile phones.
