Ottawa (Dec 2013)

It was really nice of Debbie and Bill to invite us over to Canada for the New Year, but surely they could have done something about the weather?! At -28 °C (-40 °C with wind-chill) it was colder in Ottawa than at the North Pole!

Staying inside was the most sensible option, but Molly did need an occasional walk, and the trip to the Diefenbunker (Canada's Cold War Museum) was really interesting.

We also went in to Ottawa on our last full day. We walked up to the Centennial Flame on Parliament Hill ... for Geocaching reasons! I don't think I've ever been so cold - recovery was long and painful!
