Cornwall (Aug 2005)

After five years of boys-only camping, we eventually persuaded Laura to come along as camp-cook on our trip to Cornwall! The trade-off was that we all had to go to a big garden centre near St Austell. ;-)

Dartmoor and Exeter

We stopped off for a night in Exeter en route to Cornwall, and had great fun revisiting our old haunts on Dartmoor, in the City and on the University campus.

A word or warning, however, to the more financially 'cautious': a family ticket (i.e. car parking) for Becky Falls cost £19! Back in my day...

The Campsite

Day two took us through Bodmin Moor to our campsite at Court Farm near St Austell.

We were within easy reach of both coasts, and visited them both. Stunning! And I even found National Trust car parks at Fowey, Bedruthan and Tintagel!

Eden Project

And so to that giant garden centre: the Eden Project! Well worth a visit.
